Councilman Insists Streetlight Is “Watching Him”

At Tuesday’s council meeting, Hobart Councilman Gary Sloan refused to vote on a measure regarding downtown lighting, claiming one of the new LED streetlamps was “staring directly” at him.

The lamp in question has since been covered with a garbage bag “for everyone’s comfort” until further inspection can be made.
