Editorial: Without the Pit Stop, Hobart Pauses
When the Pit Stop closes, Hobart loses more than a convenience store. We lose our meeting place, our bulletin board, our stage for everyday dramas large and small. Some towns have town squares; we have aisles of beef jerky and motor oil.
We urge the Pit Stop to resolve whatever matter has forced this closure quickly. Hobart is at its best when it has somewhere to be, and nowhere else will do.
