Chamber of Commerce Sets Annual Spring Luncheon for March 14

HOBART, OHIO – The Hobart Chamber of Commerce has announced its Annual Spring Luncheon will be held March 14 at the Hobart Moose Lodge on Canal Street. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Attendance is described as “strongly encouraged” in the official notice, though the Chamber stopped short of specifying consequences.

This year’s program will include remarks from the Chamber president, a brief presentation on “the state of Hobart commerce,” and a buffet. Last year’s luncheon ran 40 minutes over schedule due to a dispute over the definition of a sole proprietorship. Organizers say they have added a timer.

Tickets are $18 per person and available at the Chamber office at 112 Court Street or by calling during posted hours, which are listed on a laminated card taped to the door.
