Public Works Announces Mid-Winter Warm-Up Schedule

HOBART, OHIO – The Hobart Public Works Department has announced its annual Mid-Winter Warm-Up, scheduled for January 13, as part of routine seasonal maintenance and safety preparation.

The Warm-Up includes equipment inspections, cold-weather readiness checks, and crew briefings intended to ensure continued operations during winter conditions. The department noted that the event does not involve public programming and is conducted internally.

Work crews will begin earlier than usual on Tuesday, and residents may notice temporary activity near Public Works facilities and select infrastructure locations throughout the day.

Minor traffic interruptions are possible in limited areas. No road closures are currently planned.

Public Works officials stated that the Warm-Up is a standard mid-season procedure and emphasized that services will continue uninterrupted.
